Description of Therapies
Thermographic Diaganostic Scanning: Thermal scanning can detect abnormal heat emissions of the body enabling the pinpointing of abnormal spinal function, and disrupted communication between the nervous system and the blood vessels; that can be caused by physical traumas and emotional stress.
Neuromuscular Electric Stimulation: A form of electrical stimulation that attempts to strengthen muscles weakened by disuse. Used for individuals who have joint mobility problems, circulation inadequacies; disuse atrophy; and spasticity.
Spinal Decompression: Spinal Decompression treatments painlessly decompress the disc(s) in your lower back, relieving pressure on the affected nerves and structure of the spine.
Traction: Gentle rollers fashioned in a table, help to relieve pressure and loosen muscles prior to manual adjustments.
Accupuncture: We offer 7 approaches to Acupuncture, the following 3 are the most commonly used.
- Traditional Needle Acupuncture: This is the most recognized form of acupuncture that involves the insertion and manipulation of extremely thin needles in speific points that are located within the twelve meridians of the body.
-Auriculotherapy: Aricular therapy is the stimulation of specific, external points of the ear using small needles, staples and magnetic patches. Aricular therapy is also used for treating drug and alcohol addiction and obesity.
-Homeopathic Acupuncture injection (H.A.I): A holistic approach to pain management, metabolic balancing and esthetic tissue rejuvenation; estethic treatment of wrinkles, scars and reducing the signs of aging. Using specific homeopathic medications, injected through traditional acupuncture points, to stimulate the body's ability to heal from acute and chronic conditions.
Spinal Adjustments: Provide manual spinal stabalization to correct spinal subluxations, nutritional deficiencies, and spinal disk damage. ( can require 13-24 visits)
Massage: Manipulation of the skin and muscles to release built-up lactic acid, relax spastic muscles and reduce pain.
Biofeedback: Utilizing meridian points in the hand, we are able to access any nutritional deficiencies to help you determine your nutritional needs.
